It’s an exciting day here. Since this is my second year on City Council, my term will end in April of 2025. I know everyone is probably sick of hearing about elections after the last few months, but for me, the April election season started on December 1st, the first day I could start collecting signatures. I needed to collect 20 signatures to get my name on the ballot, and I collected 30. Thank you to everyone who signed – I really appreciate the support! Next up was updating my campaign finance paperwork (Mike Bare has graciously agreed to be my Treasurer again), and finally, getting my Declaration of Candidacy notarized. I took my kids along to share in this very exciting, and yet very boring, process. *lol* I am happy to report that my paperwork has all been submitted, reviewed, and accepted. I am officially on the ballot for the office of Alderperson for District 4 in the April 1st, 2025 election! Mark your calendars to vote!
